REMOTE SUPPORT
Remote help without an onsite visit.
Remote assistance can resolve many computer, software, email, and account problems without an onsite visit.
Before starting a remote session
Contact West Valley Tech first unless a session has already been arranged. Be ready to explain which device is affected, what changed, any messages shown on the screen, and whether the problem is stopping work. Save open work when possible and close private documents that are unrelated to the requested service.
Only download remote-support software from the verified link on this page. Do not grant access to an unexpected caller or anyone whose identity you have not confirmed through West Valley Tech’s established phone number.
A faster path to a working computer
With your permission, we connect to your screen, diagnose the issue, and walk you through what is happening.
How remote access works
The Splashtop Streamer installer initially enables unattended remote access so West Valley Tech can complete the requested service. After the work is finished, we configure Splashtop not to start automatically and require you to click Allow before any future connection. A desktop shortcut is provided so you can start Splashtop when support is needed. You may also disable or uninstall Splashtop at any time.
Diagnose Together
We inspect the problem while you can see the work, ask questions, and understand the recommended solution.
Get Back to Work
Many issues can be resolved in a single session without transporting equipment or scheduling an onsite appointment.
Remote support is ideal for
- Email and Microsoft 365 issues
- Software errors and configuration
- Slow computers and startup problems
- Account access and password guidance
- Printer and peripheral troubleshooting
- Security checks and suspicious activity
Hardware failures, cabling, physical installation, and some network problems may require onsite service. We’ll tell you plainly when that is the better option.
