I have had Mat service my desktop twice in the last 6 months. He is very direct and professional. His rates are but a fraction of what Cox tries to get away with with their “service plan”. His house-calls are a great convenience. Each time he arrived within a couple of hours……the same day I called. I would certainly use him again.

Matt has worked on my laptop twice now (for the first time, I had dropped it and the screen cracked and the second, it kept restarting itself without my prompting. It would stay on for less than five minutes before it would restart itself). Both times, he’s been:

-Accommodating. He will work around your schedule for dropping off and picking up your computer

-Quick. The first time, I gave him the laptop on a Thursday and had it back that following Monday, and that was with him having to order the screen. The second time, gave it to him on a Friday and got it back Monday.

-Knowledgeable. After correspondence with Matt via email trying to troubleshoot the issue of the computer restarting itself (without charging me for the correspondence, I might add), I had to hand it over to him. I got communication no more than an hour after I gave it to him saying he was able to find the problem and was able to correct it in a snap.

-AFFORDABLE. I was absolutely in shock both times when he sent the invoice (which he always tells you the price up front before he makes any repairs), since I know some companies tack on ridiculous fees that weren’t discussed ahead of time. I hope that my laptop can make it a few more years without requiring any repairs, but if it does, I know the first person I will call.

I have had Matt repair my computer and I couldnt be happier. He is efficient and very reasonable. I am not very computer savvy and he is so helpful and informative. He doesnt treat me like the computer illiterate I am! I would recommend him to anyone in need of help.

My business was down because of my computer. I was working when suddenly my connection to the internet went away, then my computer gave many warnings that it couldn’t write to the hard drive. I got a warning to run a computer check with a program that looked like a Microsoft program. It gave me 14 errors and had a fix button. But I didn’t know what the fix button would do so I restarted my computer. Now there were no icons on the desktop, only a few programs, no control panel and very little data. I decided to call for help and contacted Matt at West Valley Tech. He soon arrived and told me I had a computer virus which was so new it had bypassed my virus detector software. When he tried to run all of his anti-virus programs this virus would terminate them! He spent hours looking things up on the internet, trying new things and contacting other repair people for a solution. Slowly my computer came back to life – first with icons showing, then with increased speed and finally data and programs showing up. The virus had hidden all my programs and data. We found I had a virus and a root kit virus together which made them very difficult to solve. Since my business can’t run without my computer and it would have taken days to load programs and my backups I was very thrilled that Matt found the solution. He was totally committed to solving every issue I had and was incredibly reasonable. I know I will call him in an instant if I have problems in the future and definitely refer him!

Matt from West Valley Tech was extremely knowledgeable, prompt and courteous. He came right to my house and told me what my computer issue was within just a few minutes-a power supply problem. He had it back to me and running within 1 day! He was also able to get our laptop running faster as well networking my new wireless printer while he was here. Even though I know very little about computers, he answered all my questions without making me feel stupid! He took all the time I needed and gave me great suggestions as well. I would highly recommend him and will definitely be calling him for my future computer repair needs! Thanks Matt!
